After 6ish years, 7 attempts to get past chapter 5 and beating my head against the wall, I've FINALLY finished Terry Goodkind's Chainfire. Yay for audiobooks!

The last couple are pretty good. Much more in line with how he USED to write. Except the ending seemed rushed to me. I was really disappointed by it. Which is why I haven't bought any of his new books. I just have no interest in anything he has to say anymore. After having met the man and being singularly unimpressed...yeah.

I can completely understand. Our library has the newest book and I listened to Law of Nine on audiobook earlier last year. It doesn't hold my interest as well as the beginning of the Sword of Truth series.

I think the law of nine sucked. It had nothing of his original style, and it was way too predictable
